About

Hello! You can call me dairytea.
I’m a girl who is very much into Otome / BL stuff.  I can speak and understand very basic Chinese.  However, I want to improve my Chinese, so I've decided to try my hands on translating Chinese to English.  Because I'm still learning, these are only "rough" translations. X3

PS: Any comments we receive are much loved :) <3

Greetings BL-lovers of the web, be you fujoshi or fudanshi. This is ayszhang.
I began reading Chinese internet fiction in 2010 starting with superficially popular time-travel, time-slip and alternate dimension genre which got boring really fast. Then I began reading gui chui deng 鬼吹燈 which led me to Grave Robbers' Chronicle 盜墓筆記 where I began shipping Wu Xie and Zhang Kylin (I had yet to discover the concept of fu). Incidentally I discovered the massive quantity of Kylin/Wuxie fanfiction and thus fell into the ditch that is fu and never climbed back out.

I joined this blog in 2014 when I kickstarted my fu-translator career with the first Chinese BL story I had ever read, mo shang han sha (translated as Beyond the Frore Dunes/ Cold Sands). Since then I haven't stopped and will likely not stop in the foreseeable future...

    1. You're welcome! Thank you for your comment~ I'm happy to know that people are looking forward to my translations. Hopefully you'll be okay with very rough translations since I'm not that great when it comes to languages in general. But then if I don't translate, who else would?! I'll try my best! ; u ;

  4. This made my day omg, I'm a native Mandarin Chinese and English speaker, and I'm been trying to bridge the two BL communities since I'm active in both. I'm also planning to translate an ancient-china-setting BL piece into English, hopefully I can start by the end of the year since life is getting really tough right now. But in any case, this is awesome, if you need help with Chinese translations or English proofreading, I can totally help! :)
